Pool side Promises

Rare is the opportunity to officate the marriage between friends. Earleir this month at the romantic and tropical pool side deck at the Esplanade Fremantle, I had the honour to join Gemma and Jarrad together as one.

This ceremony was special in more ways than most, as I got to offer my congratulations and blessing as a freind. Long into the ngiht we shared the love and laughter and enjoyed the reception that followed.

Picture Perfect

Congratulations to Marika and Dean on a truly beautiful wedding. In the picturesque surrounds of Fairbridge Village, they vowed to make one another happy through life and filled the gardens with the essence of their love.

Some times you meet couples who you know were destined to be together. The 8th October 2011 was the beginning of their journey as husband and wife

Christening Wishes

This morning in the presence of God, a beautiful little girl shall be welcomed into the world. I shall be among her family and friends, to witness the joy and pride in her parents eyes and she is blessed in Baptism. As I am not a Minister of Religion I won't be conducting this wonderful ceremony, however I shall be sharing a few words of love.

The Further Benefits of Wisdom
Proverbs 3:1-4

My child, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart; for they will prolong your life for many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them to your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a good name, in the sight of God and man.

Jasmine, my Christening wish to you is to walk through life with the belief, that you are a truly beautiful child. May your heart rejoice in love; may faith and friendship give you strength in times of need; may wisdom and courage lead you to greatness and may Christianity, compassion and kindness be the essence of your every day.

Rainy Day Love

Sitting by my window, watching the rain drizzle outside and the clouds rolling overhead. It is a cold day and an awfully wet and windy morning. No doubt, somewhere, there is a nervous girl, who is getting ready for her wedding on this very day. She will have hoped for a ray of sunshine to add warmth to her winter wedding.

If you are planning a wedding during the autumn and winter months, here are some things I have seen over the past few years; which bring a little richness and warmth to a cold day.
  • Velvet textures
  • Dark rich colours, mahogany, black, emerald, ruby and sapphire blue
  • Live Music
  • Candles
  • Bright Flowers
  • Shades of white

Enjoy planning your winter marriage and know that raindrops on the lawn reflect the sunlight beautifully. Imagine each droplet is a diamond filled with hope and wonder on your special day.

Winter Wedding

As the rain drizzled and the storm clouds rolled in, we held a beautiful ceremony inside the elegant, yet simple chapel at Munja Gardens in Karnup WA. The bride wore a stunning black satin dress with white floral embroidery, traditional veil and ornate jewells; accompanied by her bridal party, who wore platinum dresses with black shrugs. These contemporary wedding colours designed in classic bridal attire, along with the beaming smiles of the page boys, flower girls, bride and groom, would surely make for spectacular photographs.

As the couple exchanged their wedding vows, it was obvious to see that this man and woman were connected spiritually and emotionally in all aspects of life and love.

This winter wedding was a celebration of the love Martin and Kristy share as husband and wife and also as mother and father to their wonderful children. To represent the unity of family, a sand pouring ceremony was performed during the marriage. Just as the sands which joined together on this day, can never be divided, nor shall the love of this family.
